We invite donations from locals who have old laptops they no longer want. The project will then regenerate them and Shrimp them to create something altogether better. They will then either be used as studio machines, or loaned to local participants in our programmes.
Whatever condition they are in, there’s a good chance we can either bring old and slow machines up to date with our Linux Build or recover at least some of the bits to create a functioning hybrid laptop from multiple machines at once. Either way it will be really useful to us.
